A new member has recently been appointed to a Guthrie County-based foundation.
At the Guthrie County Conservation Board’s December meeting, Barry Chalfant was appointed to a three-year term on the Prairie Woodland Conservation Foundation. Other board members include Maggie Armstrong, Bill Bump, Doug Frels, and Ryan Steenblock. The Prairie Woodland Conservation Foundation is a five-member non-profit corporation whose purpose is to accept gifts from persons or organizations for the development and enhancement of environmental, educational, and other conservation projects within Guthrie County.
