The Jefferson Rotary Club recently made donations to individuals to help them stay warm this winter.
The local club purchased 37 coats in sizes that ranged from elementary students to adults through the Rotary District 6000’s Operation Warm Coats program. The coats for the students were distributed to the Greene County School District, while the adult coats were given to New Opportunities to be distributed.
It is the fifth year that Jefferson Rotary has participated in the District 6000 program.
