A free and fun activity to do over the winter break can be checked out from the Greene County Extension office.
Extension 4-H and Youth Coordinator Kayla Willms says they have six different Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)-To-Go Kits available. Some of the kits include: a balloon hovercraft, strawberry DNA and bubble handwashing. She points out that each kit is educational and also fun and entertaining for the entire family.
The kits are free due to a grant from the Greene County 4-H Foundation. To check them out, stop into the Extension office in Jefferson or call them at 386-2138.
