Tonight marks the first competition of 2019 for the Greene County wrestlers. The Rams travel to Ogden for a 5:30 p.m. quadrangular meet with the host Bulldogs, Audubon, and Southeast Valley (Gowrie). SEV and Greene County are Class 2A programs and both enter tonight with winning records in dual meets. The Jaguars are 13-4 and the Rams are 10-7. Ogden and Audubon are both 1A programs and the Bulldogs and Wheelers have had difficulty filling their lineups and have been forfeiting quite a few weight classes. Audubon has a 3-12 record while Ogden is 1-9.
First year head coach Zach Beekman expects Greene County to be close to full strength tonight. Senior Brock Wuebker at 170 lbs. has the best winning percentage on the team with a 12-1 record.
