The lone returning starter on last year’s Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity boys basketball team continues to be the squad’s top scoring option. Senior guard Koby Hardcastle scored 121 points in the first eight games of his final high school basketball season. Hardcastle’s point production is the fourth most in the Raccoon River Conference entering the holiday break with six points separating him from second place in the conference’s scoring. Ballard sophomore forward Connor Drew has amassed 127 points in eight games while Winterset junior guard Easton Darling poured in 125 points in six games. Carlisle senior guard Colin Lister is the league’s lone player with over 200 points scored entering the new year. Hardcastle has scored 12 or more points in seven of the eight games he’s played in this winter, helping the ADM boys basketball team to a 6-2 overall record. The ADM boys basketball team resumes their regular season schedule on Friday, January 4, traveling to Bondurant-Farrar High School for a Raccoon River Conference matchup against the Bluejays.
