A sophomore on this year’s Panorama Panthers boys basketball team is becoming a more polished player in his second varsity season. Zack Rizzuti entered the holiday break as one of Panorama’s top defenders, leading the Panthers with 23 total steals in eight games. Rizzuti ranks second on Panorama’s squad with 103 points scored and 44 rebounds secured. Rizzuti fell a few rebounds and steals short of a 20 point triple-double in Panorama’s final game before the holiday break. He poured in 23 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and swiped six steals in a 67-65 victory last Friday against the Woodward-Academy Knights. The Panorama Panthers resume their varsity boys basketball schedule on Thursday, January 3, hosting the IKM-Manning Wolves in a nonconference contest.
