As New Year’s Day approaches, Guthrie County residents are reminded of closures happening at various offices.
The Guthrie County Courthouse will be closed Tuesday and the Board of Supervisors will have their regular meeting on Wednesday at 9 a.m. Stuart City Hall is closed New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, and the Guthrie Center and Panora city halls will be closed New Year’s Day. Garbage routes in each city will be unaffected. The Stuart Public Library is closed through New Year’s Day, the Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library in Guthrie Center will be open from noon-3 p.m. tomorrow and closed Tuesday, and the Panora Public Library will be open from noon-4 p.m. tomorrow and closed Tuesday. The Guthrie County Extension and Outreach office is closed tomorrow and Tuesday, and all post offices will be closed on New Year’s Day.
