With New Year’s Day happening tomorrow, several offices and businesses will be closed in Jefferson.
The Greene County Courthouse, Jefferson City Hall, Greene County Extension office, Greene County Chamber and Tourism office, Jefferson Public Library, Greene County Community Center and the Jefferson Post Office will all be closed tomorrow in observance of the holiday Additionally, the Jefferson Library is closing at 6pm tonight.
Jefferson Library staff reminds everyone that nothing is due to the library when it is closed for a holiday. Jefferson City staff reminds residents that garbage routes will be delayed by one day starting tomorrow. Garbage routes will go back to normal schedules the following week. Residents need to have their garbage out at curbside by 6am to ensure that it is picked up.
