Tomorrow starts a new calendar year and later this week the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity basketball teams will resume their Raccoon River Conference season on the road. The Tigers have their first league meeting against the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays Friday night in Polk County. The road swing continues the next day for the ADM girls basketball team when they hop the county line for a nonconference contest against the Earlham Cardinals. Next Tuesday, January 8, both ADM basketball teams will visit the town of tulips for a nonconference doubleheader against the Pella Little Dutch. The first home date of the 2019 calendar year is on Friday, January 11 when the Boone Toreadors visit Adel for their first league contest of the season. The ADM girls basketball team posts an 8-2 overall record, winning four road games before the holiday break. The Tiger boys basketball team sits with a 6-2 record, tallying three road victories in 2018.
