The best margin of victory among West Central Activities Conference girls basketball teams this winter is the Panorama Panthers (8-0; 6-0 WCAC). Class 2A’s No. 6 ranked squad enters the new year winning their first eight games by an average of 26.5 points per game. The Panthers closest margin of victory came in their season-opening win over Class 4A Gilbert on November 20, topping the Tigers by a 45-38 score. Panorama has won six games by more than 21 points, and three of those victories were by more than 34 points. The Panthers ended the 2018 calendar year with a record of 21-1. The Panorama varsity girls basketball team brings an 8-0 mark into the new year and will resume their season this Thursday night in Panora against nonconference foe IKM-Manning.
